Ok, LONG belated hockey updates:
We added two teams.  I added Edmonton Oilers and Minnesota Wild.  Not because of requests cause apparently no one reads these. They were added because they determine as to if Aves go to cup playoffs or not.  Ok, here we go:

Colorado Avalanche: They won thier last game against the Anahiem Mighty Ducks 2-0. Fell to 5th in Northwestern division, sand to 10th in the Western conference without a playoff spot, and falls to 21st in the league.  Next game against Calgary Flames 2/15/07 on Calgary ice.  If they can win in overtime and Edmonton loses, then they will have the same amount of points.  Aves will move up to 19th in league and 9th in conference.

New Jersey Devils: Won thier last game against the Montreal Canadians 5-2.  Remain 1st in the Atlantic division, moved up to 2nd in Easter conference with a playoff spot, and made 4th in the league.  Next game against Pittsburgh Penguins 2/16/07 on New Jersey ice.

Dallas Stars: Lost thier last game agianst Detroit Red Wings 1-3.  Remain 3rd in the Pacific division, 6th in Western conference with a playoff spot, and regained spot 7 in the league.  Next game against San Jose Sharks 2/18/07 on Dallas ice.

Buffalo Sabres: Won thier last game against the Calgary flames 3-2.  Remain 1st in the Northeast division, 1st in Eastern conference, sits as conference leader with a playoff spot, but fall by 1 pt. to number 2 in the league.  Next game against Edmonton Oilers 2/15/07 on Buffalo ice.  We're hoping for a win on Buffalo's behalf.

Pittsburgh Penguins: Won thier last game against Chicago Blackhawks 5-4.  Rose to 2nd in the Atlantic division, soared to 4th in the Eastern conference, gaining a playoff spot and sitting pretty, and jumped way up to 8th in the league.  Next game against New Jersey Devils 2/16/07 on New Jersey ice.

Detroit Red Wings: Won last game against Dallas Stars 3-1.  Remain 2nd in the Central division, 4th in the Western conference with a playoff spot, and jumped to 3rd in the league.  Next game agianst Pheonix Coyotes 2/17/07 on Pheonix ice.

Las Angeles Kings: Lost last game to Carolina Hurricanes 1-2. Remain 5th in the Pacific Division, 15th in the Western conference without a playoff spot, remain 29th in league.  Next game against Anahiem Mighty Ducks 2/17/07 on Las Angeles ice.

Nashville Predators: Won thier last game against the San Jose Sharks 5-0.  Remain 1st in the Central division, moved to 1st in the Western conference, sits as conference leader and a playoff spot, and made 1st in the league.  Next game against St. Louis Blues 2/16/07 on St. Louis ice.

Edmonton Oilers: 4th in the Northwest division, 9th in the Western conference without a playoff spot, ahead of Aves by 2 pts, and are 19th in the league.  Next game against Buffalo Sabres 2/15/07 on Buffalo ice.  We need a loss for Edmonton.

Minnesota Wild: 3rd in the Northwest division, 8th in the Western conference with a playoff spot, ahead of Aves by 9 pts (doesn't look good but there is still some time), and are 13th in league.  Next game against Nashville Predators 2/17/07 on Nashville ice.

Ok, now, for the long belated update.  Sorry this took so long, being engaged has been my highlights.  Since i've been out for so long i'm only going to give you the standings updates.

New Jersey Devils: Remain number 1 in the Atlantic division, moved up to 3rd in the Eastern conference with a current playoff spot, and made 6th in the league.  Next game against Philadelphia Flyers sat. Jan 20 on New Jersey ice.  I predict a win.

Dallas Stars: Still number 3 in the Pacific division, dropped to 6th in the Western conference but still maintain a current playoff spot, and dropped to number 8 in the league.  Next game against Minnesota Wild sat. Jan 20 on Minnesota ice.  I predict a lose.

Buffalo Sabres: Remain number 1 in the Northeast division, 1st in the Eastern conference with a current playoff spot, and moved up to number 1 in the league.  Next game against Vancouver Canucks fri. Jan 19 on Buffalo ice.  I predict a win.

Pittsburgh Penguins: Moved up to number 3 in the Atlantic division, moved up to 10th in the eastern conference without a current playoff spot, and moved up to 20 in the league.  Next game against Toronto Maple Leafs sat. Jan 20 on Pittsburgh ice.  I predict a win.

Detroit Red Wings: Moved up to number 2 in the Central division, moved up to 4th in the Western conference with a current playoff spot, and to number 7 in the league.  Next game against Columbus Blue Jackets fri. Jan 19 on Columbus ice.  I predict a win.

Las Angeles Kings: Dropped to last place (5th) in the Pacific division, sank low to 15th in the Western conference without a current playoff spot, and fell to number 29 in the league (2nd to last).   Next game against Pheonix Coyotes sat. Jan 20 on Las Angeles ice.  I predict a loss.

Nashville Predators: Remain number 1 in the Central division, remain 2nd in Western conference (by 1 point) with a current playoff spot, and rise to 3rd in the league.  Next games against Chicago Blackhawks sat. Jan 20 on Nashville ice.  I predict a win.

Detroit Red Wings: Suffered a 2-3 loss to the Ottawa Senators but returned with a 3-2 win over the Chicago Blackhawks.  Next game against the New Jersey Devils on New Jersey ice 12/16/06

New Jersey Devils: Took a 2-3 loss to the Buffalo Sabres and suffered another 3-5 loss to the Boston Bruins.  Next game against the Detroit Red Wings on New Jersey ice 12/16/06

Nashville Predators: Beat the Edmonton Oilers 3-2 and a 6-0 shut out over the Ottawa Senators.  Next game against the St. Louis Blues on Nashville ice 12/16/06
